About SimpleChart

Everything else wants you to make an account first. SimpleChart doesn't. There is no sign-up, no password, no email, no verification step — the URL is the whole thing.

Pick an address, add your tickers, and that board exists. Remember the address and you can open it from any device, anywhere, with nothing to log into. Type it on your phone and your board is there. That convenience is the entire point of the product.

Free boards are not private. There is no login, which means there is nothing to check who you are — so anyone who knows or guesses your board's address can view it, add tickers, and remove them. Treat a board as public.

That is the direct cost of needing no account, and it is a deliberate trade rather than an oversight. Choose an address that is not easy to guess, and don't put anything on a board you would mind a stranger seeing or changing.

What we store is only a board's address and its list of ticker symbols. No accounts, no email addresses, no personal information, no tracking of individuals — we have nothing to attach any of it to.

Private, password-protected boards are the feature most likely to arrive next. Until they do, the warning above is the accurate description.

Charts, prices, and company information are provided by TradingView, whose widgets power every card on a board.

Quotes are delayed by at least 15 minutes — that is what the small D on each chart means. Real-time market data carries exchange licensing fees; delayed data is what can be offered for free.
